RESCUE 2018 is an international search and rescue conference in Reykjavik, Iceland, RESCUE will be held for the 14th time from 12-14 October 2018.
Over 50 lectures in four lecture halls from experts from all over the world, interesting pre-conference courses and a variety of exciting off-venue activities.
The International Maritime Rescue Federation (IMRF) is delighted to announce that the European Regional Development Meeting 2018 will be hosted by Redningsselskapet (RS), the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue. The meeting, as well as the IMRF Awards, will be held at their new training centre, RS Noatun Langgrunn, in Horten, Norway.
The International Maritime Rescue Federation (IMRF) Awards aim to recognise some of the exceptional individuals and organisations around the world that make maritime search and rescue (SAR) possible.
The IMRF Awards (formerly known as the H.E.R.O. Awards) are now in their third year and have proved a great success, raising awareness of the excellent work done by those involved in the maritime SAR community, including highlighting innovative new SAR products and technologies.
